She loved to play Hide and Seek, which is how she came to be called "Boo". She never tired of playing Tag or Hide and Seek, not even with her heavy uncomfortable brace on, not even when she had to stop and lean against the wall to gather her strength. She loved to walk between your legs and have her hips rubbed. She hated city streets and loved to go for hikes with us on trails. She loved to wade around in the water, get her hind quarters thoroughly soaked & then come and get you all wet with her wet behind. She loved boats, including the canoe, and the front passenger seat of the motor home. She didn't much care for the car though. She loved little girls, and other dogs, and smelling flowers. She would kiss your hand, or your cheek just once and ever so gently (not all sloppy and drooly like her sister). She liked to lean against me or lay down between my feet while I was cooking.
If I was turned facing in and my back was exposed she would stand next to me facing out as lookout. She "had my back".
She barked whenever she heard the words "kitty kitty", or "squirrel" or "birdie". If I was ever walking with her and someone I didn't trust approached I could whisper one of those words and she would bark. The suspicious person was none the wiser.
She got along with Ozzy, but I don't think she ever trusted him completely.
I miss her "smile", her big fluffy wagging tail, and her warm gentle eyes.
She was a joy every day of her life. I miss her every day.
