Bev is here for a few days from Spokane and yesterday we got on the Bainbridge ferry. The view looking back at downtown Seattle from the ferry is always breathtaking. It was a gorgeous day and we had a great time looking at some of the cute shops in Winslow. Esther's Fabrics (the oldest independently owned fabric store in the state and a Bainbridge Island institution) is worth the trip over by itself. What a thrill!
